The Opportunity As a Gentrack Senior Business Analyst, you will help design and build our new Data & Analytics platform. We would love someone with knowledge of utility (power/gas/water) data, analytics requirements, and operational and strategic reporting. The focus for the role will be identifying the critical analytical outcomes for utility clients and specifying the detailed requirements for the engineering teams to facilitate a product that delivers next-level reporting and provides the cornerstone for our AI implementation. The Specifics Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand a variety of use cases. Identify priority use cases for Data & Analytics products and build product requirements to support the build of the backlog. See the big picture and design the end-to-end solution based on the product roadmap and business requirements. Leverage your deep utilities knowledge to drive cutting-edge outcomes. Obtain constructive feedback from stakeholders to enhance the quality of the end client solution. Produce business requirements to support the development of POCs and demos. Support client demonstrations. Gather requirements from clients. Guide internal and external development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements. This may require out-of-hours work to facilitate international clients and cross-department stakeholders. What we\βre looking for: Extensive utilities experience, ideally in billing, settlements, and/or finance. Deep domain knowledge of operational and/or strategic KPI monitoring. Robust understanding of analytical methods and tools. Strong analytical skills and understanding of business processes. Proven ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts. Experience of software development lifecycles desirable. Likely experience as an operations manager or commercial/strategy/finance/MI analyst. Can-do attitude. Exceptional communication skills.
