We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Plymouth on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging ICT curriculum to students across various key stages. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons to students.

  • Teach a range of ICT topics, including coding, networking, data management, and emerging technologies.

  • Foster students' interest in technology and its applications.

  • Encourage problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity in digital projects.

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, offering targeted support where necessary.

  • Stay up to date with the latest ICT developments and integrate them into the classroom.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in ICT, computer science, or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching ICT at the secondary level (experience at the primary level is also welcome).

  • Must provide 2 professional references.

  • An enhanced DBS on update service, or willing to apply a new one.

  • Legal ability to work within the UK.

  • Strong classroom management skills Passion for technology and innovative teaching methods.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
