About the role

Are you an experienced Signalling professional with a passion for delivering high-quality work and ensuring safety standards? We have exciting opportunities for Works Delivery Supervisors (Signalling) to join our team at London Wimbledon Stables. As a Works Delivery Supervisor (Signalling), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient inspection, maintenance, and renewal of Signalling assets. Working alongside the Works Delivery Manager, you’ll supervise works, conduct inspections, and contribute to keeping the railway network running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and check work quality to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, following method statements and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and prioritise work arising.
  • Assist in developing work plans that enable safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare work and resource specifications, including Safe System of Work Plans.
  • Support asset renewal proposals and resource allocation.
  • Provide accurate updates to systems, databases, and records.
  • Monitor staff performance, safety, and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Supervising work sites, ensuring safe and efficient work delivery.

Knowledge: Signalling inspection, maintenance, renewal, and asset condition assessment techniques.

Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and the ability to coach and influence others.

Competencies: Understanding of industry standards, procedures, and cost control.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred, or relevant experience.

Driving: Willingness and ability to drive vehicles as required.
