We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead to oversee and enhance the quality control processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role involves leading a dedicated team to ensure all products meet industry standards, customer expectations, and legal requirements. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality.

Full Time, Permanent role, Monday to Friday, 08:00AM – 17:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with industry standards, including customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, and relevant certification.
Oversee and maintain HACCP protocols, assessing risks and implementing controls for new processes, products, or materials.
Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and traceability in all aspects of manufacturing.
Investigate and resolve internal and external quality concerns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Support audit preparations and host external audits, ensuring non-conformance issues are addressed and resolved efficiently.
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to uphold quality expectations and improve processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to excel in their roles.
Manage laboratory testing processes, analyse results, and oversee corrective actions in collaboration with operational teams.
Monitor key quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain product specifications, packaging standards, and labelling requirements.
Organise and lead product quality assessments, including benchmarking and panel evaluations.

What We’re Looking For:

Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.
Level 2 HACCP qualification.
Previous experience in food manufacturing and working with major retailers.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and communicate across teams.
