Senior Recruitment Consultant | Indirect Tax

My client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking for an experienced Head of Indirect Tax to oversee the indirect tax team. This role involves providing strategic tax advice, managing risks, and working closely with senior stakeholders and HMRC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading the Indirect Tax function, managing a team of 2.
2. Advising on VAT and IPT matters across the business.
3. Ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective tax controls.
4. Engaging with HMRC and industry bodies on tax developments.
5. Supporting key business initiatives and finance projects.

Requirements:

1. Experience in a Big 4 or similar environment.
2. Strong understanding of tax in the insurance sector.
3. Experience within a financial services environment, with knowledge of PESM.
4. Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive efficiencies.

The role follows a hybrid working model , with travel to the business\’ regional office required. Flexible working options can be discussed.
