Nursery Manager
Our Client are looking to employ an experienced Nursery Manager for their newly established 25-place Nursery near Mill Hill Park, London. This quality setting is Inspired by Montessori and Forest Schooling and the successful candidate will be Leading and overseeing the daily operation of the nursery to ensure a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 1-year experience in a management role in a childcare or early years setting (Nursery or similar).
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or higher (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Montessori principles, and Forest Schooling approaches.
• Proven experience in leading a team and managing a childcare setting.
• A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care
Key Responsibilities
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs based on the EYFS and Montessori principles.
• Ensuring the smooth running of the nursery, managing staff, and supporting the day-to-day activities of the nursery.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the team of practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
• Building strong and positive relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on their child’s progress.
• Ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
• Conducting regular performance reviews and providing support for professional development.
• Reviewing and assessing children's progress through observations and ensuring that individual needs are met.
