Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Sub-Agent to join their team working on significant highways projects in Norwich. This permanent role is pivotal in supporting infrastructure projects with a focus on highways and earthworks, ensuring effective management and site operations. Key Responsibilities: Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment. Day-to-day leadership and management of a section of works, including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and sub-contractors. Plan, control, and monitor the progress of the works and coordinate the allocated section(s) of the project. Manage multiple packages of work in conjunction with the commercial team. Attend external meetings as required with clients and stakeholders. Report to Site Agent/Project Manager on progress and performance. Assist the Site Agent/Project Manager to administer the cost forecast, valuation, and reporting systems. Ensure all site teams and subcontractors are working to the latest design information. Conduct regular H&S checks and CDM audits. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems that may arise. Ensure and maintain strict quality control procedures. Understand any temporary works requirements. Job Requirements: Proficiency in working safely and understanding CDM 15 regulations. Ability to read and interpret data, drawings, specifications, and schedules. Highly organised with effective plant and material management skills. Adept at interfacing with the site team, subcontractors, designers, and the client. Strong knowledge and experience with NEC. Proven leadership and delegation skills. Advanced problem-solving abilities. Understanding of Highways England standards and significant experience in PTS Civils (Sub Agent and Site Agent roles).
