CTO – Startup Up to £100,000 + Equity REMOTE (With occasional travel to Loughborough) Join a dynamic startup team driving environmental and sustainable change in the UK with an AI-driven platform. ROLE: Lead the rapid prototyping, MVP development, and iteration process based on user feedback, driving product-market fit. Be hands-on, especially in the early stages, contributing to coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Oversee the development, implementation, and scaling of their platform, ensuring it meets high standards of quality and performance. Help build and scale top technical talent teams Ideal candidate will come from a Full Stack Engineering/Hands on background and then more recently been strategic/a leader REQUIREMENTS: MSc or PhD in AI or STEM Experience leading technical teams Experience in Front-End Development and AI applications Familiarity with acquiring large datasets through APIs and performing initial data analysis and preprocessing. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, GitHub, and server management with Ubuntu. Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD), server management tools like Postman and pgAdmin, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure. Proven ability to design and build scalable, reliable services with proper logging, monitoring, alerting, and availability. Please note that this role cannot sponsor.
