A global digital trading fintech business are now seeking a number of software engineers/senior software engineers for their growing London team. Our client has developed a bleeding-edge, scaled, performant and efficient technology trading platform and seeks engineers with financial services buy/sell side experience to help with its ambitious growth.
With some interest potentially in Crypto, your role will be to work with the business and product managers to evolve market leading digital software. Your role will involve the design, build and enhancement of API based services currently developed in Golang. You will help write end to end feature tests, support integration with the exchanges and brokers, and other platforms.
Ideal skillset:
- Rust expertise, or possibly C# or C++
- Go/Golang an additional plus
- Financial services - banking or trading/buy-side
- Cloud environment
- Experience in building REST, WebSockets or FIX-based APIs
- Execution Management Systems (EMS)
- Strong core fundamental knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent at software design and debugging
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or STEM subject with industry experience
Other technology experience that would set you apart but not essential:
- Low-latency software
- TTD
- Messaging or streaming
- Trade execution or portfolio management software
