We are seeking outstanding, creative and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team at Hollis Academy. The right candidates will need to be inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves. We currently have 4 vacant positions and ideally would like to appoint at least one candidate with an interest in and/or experience of outdoor education.
Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD would be desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.

Teaching Assistants (Level 3)
32.5 Hours per week, term time + 1 day – (Fixed-term temporary posts to 31.08.25)
Grade H (NJC points 14 -17) actual salary £20,315 (pay award pending)

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of seven Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 800 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties.
