We are currently looking for a number of experienced HIAB drivers to complete a number of shifts for Lorry Loaders, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays, for a 6 month period starting throughout March.
If you hold an ALLMI, AITT, or RTITB qualification, and have over 4-5 years experience in Hiab operations, we would love to hear from you.
Rates are paid at £17 per hour. Overtime (after 9 hours) and Saturdays are paid at £25.50 per hour. Sunday and Bank Holidays are at £34.00 per hour. All Weekly pay by PAYE.
Our Class 2 Hiab Lorry Loaders are vital in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of building products to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with a Hiab crane attachment.
- Loading and unloading building products using the Hiab crane.
- Safely securing and fastening cargo.
- Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records and delivery documentation.
To be a successful applicant you must demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Valid HIAB Grab license with over 4 years recent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with a Class 2 driving license.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills is a must.
- Physically fit and able to perform loading/unloading tasks.
- Attention to detail and have a safety-oriented mindset.
