Hourly Rate: £18.72 per hour, weekly paid
Hours: 45-50 hours per week (Monday-Friday, typical 6 AM starts)

Bonus: £50-£120 per week (performance-based)
Optional Late Shift: 11 AM - 7 PM (£75 weekly shift allowance) *not currently in operation but in the plans for this year
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our clients team at a busy concrete plant with a potential for temp to perm dependant on performance. This role is crucial to the sites success, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through effective maintenance and repairs. The position requires a strong team ethic and the ability to work in outdoor conditions when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out overhead crane repairs and maintenance, ensuring all lifting equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair faults in PLC and remote sensor systems.
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Perform electrical fault-finding and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Work collaboratively within a small, skilled electrical team to meet site performance goals.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering & Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with overhead cranes, plant machinery, or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions when required.
