Legal Administrator Location: Nottingham City Centre Salary: Β£(phone number removed) Are you an experienced administrator looking to take the next step in your legal career? We are seeking a Legal Administrator to join a well-established and busy Criminal department at a respected solicitors firm based in Nottingham city centre. About the Role of Legal Administrator: As a Legal Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth running of legal processes. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and processing Legal Aid applications, including amendments Generating invoices upon completion of work Managing diaries and scheduling hearings, court dates, and meetings Drafting standard legal documents and correspondence Communicating with clients, courts, and other professionals via phone, email, and in-person Booking appointments and managing calendars Opening and closing case files, and following up on missing documents Organising case files for billing, ensuring all required documents are included Taking accurate minutes during meetingsAbout You: We\’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and committed to delivering a high standard of administrative support. Ideally, you will have: Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role Confidence working in a fast-paced office environment Familiarity with Legal Aid billing systems (advantageous but not essential) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work full-time in the office Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred, though full training will be providedWhy Apply?
