JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Childcare Early Years Educator who is passionate about nurturing the youngest learners within a friendly and supportive environment. Working as a Childcare Early Years Educator you will be a valued member of the team where you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and stimulating learning experiences for young children. As a Childcare Early Years Educator you will ideally have previous experience working with this age group and a genuine passion for supporting their unique developmental needs.
DUTIES
- Keeping a record of the children's progress to share with parents and other carers
- Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
- Providing support to other nursery staff members
- Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and individual needs
- Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
- Adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to childcare
- Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Creating fun and educational activities for the children under their care
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a Level 3 or Level 5 or higher qualification in Childcare
- If you're a Level 5 you must be able to do funding and invoicing
- Possess a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care
