At Qflow we’re on a mission to transform one of the world’s most pollutive industries: Construction. We help them cut waste and reduce their carbon emissions by providing construction and development teams with the data driven insights they need to deliver productive, profitable, and sustainable projects. Our team combines construction experience with software engineering and cutting-edge data science to deliver real-time alerts to risks and opportunities during construction.
We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative who is eager to contribute to building a sustainable future. We’re looking for a talented individual with a commercial mindset who will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients in the construction sector, qualifying leads, and contributing to the ongoing growth of our sales pipeline. You will partner with our Business Development Managers in developing and implementing Qflow’s new business strategies, helping to drive ongoing revenue growth and market share. This role will involve not only prospecting but also helping to establish processes and best practices for sales development.
You’ll be working in our Commercial team, collaborating closely with Business Development, Senior Account Executives, Customer Success, Business Solutions and Marketing teams and reporting to the Growth Director.
- Identify and research construction companies and decision-makers (e.g., contractors, project managers, architects) that align with our Ideal Customer Profile.
- Gather relevant information to ensure smooth handover to the Business Development team.
- Create & Refine Outreach Processes.
- Track what works (and what doesn’t) to build a scalable outbound sales playbook.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and outreach activity in the CRM system.
- Track and report on KPIs, including outreach volume, lead conversions, and pipeline contribution.
- Build dashboards, workflows, automation and reports to deliver a robust and reliable record-set for the Commercial Team to work from.
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to create and distribute valuable content that will help to accelerate sales and increase customer retention and value.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events as required.
Previous experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in B2B SaaS or the construction industry is essential. A growth mindset, hunger and curiosity with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth is critical for identifying great leads. Strong discovery/consulting skills are necessary, with an early pipeline qualification focus on understanding the customers' pain and exploring if/how Qflow can address it. Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills are required, as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders will accelerate your sales velocity and win rate. Strong up-to-date CRM proficiency (preferably HubSpot) with the ability to deliver an excellent best practice standard for the business overall is also important.
We offer a basic salary of up to £40,000 (depending on experience) with uncapped OTE. We are a remote-first team with regular meetings in London HQ. Additional benefits include:
- Company laptop and tools
- 25 days annual leave + 3 days company closure at Christmas + bank holidays
- Private medical insurance
- Critical illness and life insurance
- Pension contribution up to 7%
- Enhanced family policy
- Overseas working policy
- Learning & development and career progression opportunities
- Company social events (online and in person!)
We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. We created a culture that extends to all aspects of our operations, including step-free access, as we believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to access our facilities, services, and digital platforms.
