We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join an SME business established in the Nuclear & Defence Market! With an incredible track record across the UK's Mechanical and Steel Installation industries, we are looking for a person with enthusiasm for a bigger picture, and the ability to spot and seize upon opportunities.
ES Steel are a Mechanical and Steel Installation business with offices in both North Manchester and Westlakes. We pride ourselves on all aspects of our Steel Installation and Project Management, no matter what the size of the project, communicating every aspect of the work at every stage of the process. This position is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with expertise in nuclear or defence environments. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage construction activities within nuclear and defence projects, ensuring compliance with NAECI and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee mechanical and steel installation operations, ensuring quality control, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and risk assessments to meet project objectives.
- Ensure all site operations comply with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for industrial relations matters, liaising with trade unions, employee representatives, and stakeholders to maintain a productive working environment.
- Support the generation of new work and leads and any relevant business winning activities.
