ROLE OVERVIEW The person responsible for the experience design at GRIDSERVE, will support the product leads in the creation and development of all our digital and physical customer experience products, ensuring an exceptional end-to-end experience for our customers. They will work alongside our product delivery teams as part of a cross functional tribe to deliver the customer experience vision. A core aspect of the role will also be to seamlessly integrate the digital and physical experiences to provide our customers with a holistic and outstanding journey. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to shape user experiences for our GRIDSERVE products across the physical and digital experience • Conduct user, market and competitor research to gain insights into user behaviour, preferences, and needs. • Develop and maintain user personas, user journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process. • Produce front end prototypes and user experience designs, and working with architects to agree the onsite user journeys • Lead usability testing and gather feedback to inform iterative improvements. • Champion user-centred design principles and best practices throughout the organisation. • Collaborate with stakeholders to set and achieve user experience goals. • Monitor and analyse user data and metrics to identify areas for improvement. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UX and EV charging. • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System, compliant with ISO standards. PERSON SPECIFICATION Required Experience • Considerable professional experience in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, and or product design. • A strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX design projects and case studies, and or physical design case studies. Required Skills and Abilities • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc. • Proficiency and a proven track record with user research techniques, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Strong customer-centric design principles • Passion for electric vehicles, sustainable transportation, and environmentally friendly solutions. Desired Qualifications and Certifications • A relevant degree or qualification in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
