Ensuring the companies products and services meet internal / external standards, function effectively and meet the customer’s expectations. This covers in-house and purchased products and services.

Designing and maintaining Quality Management System. You will also provide training / support to colleagues and monitor company-wide performance, to drive compliance to ISO9001 + other relevant standard

Making sure health and safety processes / measures are in place to minimise the frequency and risk of workplace incidents and injuries and work-related ill-health.

Maintaining the various workplace facilities to make sure they meet the requirements of the business, our team and national/international standards.

Ownership of the Quality Management System and Quality Policy, ensuring that the company maintain their ISO9001 approval status

Review / audit existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines

Reviewing customer expectations and making sure they are met.

Providing quality assurance technical expertise to support

Lead the resolution of quality related issues, identifying problems, participate in investigations, then collaborate to design and implement effective solutions.

Ensure all facilities meet environmental, health and security standards

Advise on the maintenance and improvement of safe systems of work

Train and educate colleagues to enhance the health and safety culture

Develop and maintain a process for health and safety inspections and audits to monitor performance. Measure and report health and safety performance

Identify hazards and complete risk assessments / incident investigations

Previous experience within a Quality / H&S Leadership based role

Previous experience of managing & maintaining a ISO9001 QMS – ESSENTIAL

NEBOSH / IOSH or similar is desirable

Competitive salary paying up to £50,000 depending on experience
