A trainee opportunity for a Medical Field Service Engineer focusing on Surgical Instrumentation and Medical Microscopes. The role offers a salary of £30K plus bonus (earnings up to £34K during training), a company car, and an excellent benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and contributions to home broadband.

This is an excellent opportunity for a trainee Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer with over one year of experience working on electrical-mechanical or electronic equipment. Full and comprehensive manufacturer’s training will be provided.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown, and repair of fully networked electronic optical microscopy medical systems. This position is home-based and requires travel to hospitals and healthcare centres throughout South London, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, and Surrey.

Applications are welcome from Service Engineers, Biomedical Engineers, ex HM Forces Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, or Workshop Repair Engineers with a minimum of twelve months ‘hands-on’ experience from any industry sector.
