A large primary school in the heart of Camden is looking for a sports teaching assistant to join their supportive and welcoming team. This primary school has a great team dynamic, supportive senior management and is looking for a real team player who is flexible and keen to get stuck in.
The role of sports teaching assistant:
As a sports teaching assistant your role with vary day to day
Working within the classroom assisting the class teacher with lessons and behaviour
Assisting and sometimes running PE/sports sessions
Running lunchtime and after school clubsBenefits of the sports teaching assistant:
Weekly pay of Β£400 β Β£550 per week dependant on experience
Term time only β additional school holiday days available
8:30-4:30pm, Monday β Friday
Support and learning courses offered on the job
Camden location, great London transport linksDesirable qualities of the sports teaching assistant:
Sports related degree/qualification or equivalent
Minimum 3 months child related experience either classroom based, or coaching/summer clubs etc
