Postal Delivery Driver Pertemps Crewe are currently recruiting for Parcel Delivery Drivers to work out of their Depot in Blackburn. For this Postal Delivery Driver role, you will be responsible for: You will be expected to delivery post and parcels, you will need to be flexible with start times/finish times also. You’ll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the parcels or post for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. You’ll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around 6 hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next. For this Postal Delivery Driver role, you will need: Full UK Licence No more than 6 points We deliver parcels come rain or shine, so we’re looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, you’ll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit. Details of this Postal Delivery Driver role Location: Blackburn, Lancashire Contract: Temporary Hours: 30+ hours per week Shift: 2pm – 8pm Working Monday to Sunday. You must be available to work either a Saturday or a Sunday (Preferably both) Hourly Rate: £13.37PH
