HGV Class 2 Driver in Southport

Thrive Recruitment Group are looking for a HGV Class 2 Shunter Driver to start work ASAP for our client based in Hesketh Bank, near Banks, Tarleton and not far from Southport.

Duties:

You must hold a UK HGV 2 licence with some experience as well as in date CPC.

You will be delivering between farms and locations within Hesketh Bank, Tarleton, Banks, Southport and Preston shunting produce.

Please note this vacancy is not just driving, there will be a requirement to drive a FLT Counterbalance truck and work in the packhouse when no driving work is available.

Our client is a farm, so this is not a typical driving role.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm, with a requirement to work some Saturday mornings at busy peaks.

Pay:

£14.00 per hour

Duration of the Role:

3 months initially, however this is seasonal farm work and could be up to 9 months.

Our client has also indicated that the right candidate would have an opportunity of a permanent contract.

Start Date:

Immediately after a chat with our client first.

Requirements for the Role:

Must hold UK HGV 2 licence.

Must hold in date CPC.

No more than 6 minor penalty points.

Strictly no DD\’s, DR\’s, IN\’s or TT99\’s.
