As Product Director, you’ll oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that customer and user outcomes drive every decision. From strategy formation to delivery, you’ll connect the dots across teams, align stakeholders, and keep the product portfolio at the forefront of the market. You’ll need to have a background in lean product development, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and positive disruption. You’ll know how to get the best from data analytics through analysis, be able to articulate the true value of the research and discovery, and be experienced in bringing out the best in design and UX.

What’s the remit?

  • Developing and delivering a clear product vision that addresses customer needs and drives business outcomes

  • Managing the full product lifecycle across a diverse (circa 20) portfolio, from initial discovery to market delivery

  • Acting as the connector across the business, ensuring commercial, operational, and technical teams work seamlessly together

  • Analysing the market, understanding competitors, and identifying opportunities to gain and maintain competitive advantage

  • Handling escalations from support and implementation teams with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach

  • Full autonomy over the Go-to-market process

You’re someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, customer insight, and execution. You know how to balance big-picture thinking with the practicalities of leading large-scale products to success., * Proven experience in a Product Director role or at least in a senior product management capacity and ready to step up to Director level

  • A track record of taking products to market and optimising existing products to drive customer satisfaction and business growth

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and sell a vision to both teams and stakeholders

  • A customer-first mindset with demonstrable experience in engaging and delivering value for end-users

  • Familiarity with lean, agile software development practices and a passion for continuous improvement

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align product strategies with broader business goals

  • Experience in a Private Equity environment

  • Knowledge of education software solutions would be a bonus
