Receptionist

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Receptionist to join our team at Basingstoke Country Hotel. This woodland hotel features 121 rooms in an attractive landscaped courtyard and is located just 5 miles outside of Basingstoke town centre. It is easily accessible by bus, with a bus stop located right in front of the hotel, and it is situated just off the M3 for those who prefer to drive.

Your duties will include:

• Welcoming guests and checking guests in and out on front of house system
• Advising guests and visitors about the facilities on site
• Being the point of contact for our guests during their stay
• Answering the telephone, making reservations, taking payments, reconciling the shift and balancing floats

The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and well-presented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of Opera would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given.
