The predicted salary is between 35000 - 48000 £ per year.

Your new company is a well-established environmental consultancy with 80 - 90 specialist staff in Ecology, Arboriculture, GIS and Climate change. They have multiple hubs across the country and are looking for candidates of varying levels from Consultant to Principal. They are an Employee-Owned trust where employees have a stake in the business and receive an annual bonus. Their training is excellent, with exceptional equipment and facilities, allowing staff to shadow selected surveys for more experience.

Your new role will contribute to the running of a successful consultancy. You will manage one large or multiple smaller specialist environmental projects such as ecological surveying, habitat creation and maintenance.

Main duties could include:

  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
  • Ensure project timescales are adhered to and maintain accurate revenue forecasts
  • Manage project budgets and agree timescales
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams, external subcontractors and suppliers
  • Report regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders
  • Project reviews, estimating and writing bids for tender

What you will need to succeed:

  • A degree in Environmental Management or relevant subject
  • Proven previous experience managing ecological or environmental projects
  • Knowledge of relevant UK environmental legislation
  • Full UK driving licence
