Our future-forward Client, based in Farnham, is looking to have a new Production Operative join their team, in their formulation department. The role will include but isn’t limited to the following:
- Handling raw materials to company standards.
- Weighing, measuring and formulating products accurately to ensure the product is made to company standards.
- High attention to detail skills to ensure the formulation is correct & the product is hitting all quality control expectancies.
- Quality Checking of the product and processes.
- Working as part of a well oiled team and leading by example where applicable.
- Keeping the production area clean, tidy & sterile.
- Helping out on the production line when required, although your main focus will be formulation.
- General production duties.
- Full training given.
The ideal candidate will have but isn’t limited to the following:
- Must have previous production experience.
- Experience in brewing or within a food manufacturing background would be advantageous.
- Must be someone who is comfortable using beakers, scales and measuring equipment.
- Be forward thinking & able to think three steps ahead of current task.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to stand/work on their feet for the whole day.
- Must drive & have your own transport due to the remote location of the production site, it is not accessible via public transport.
- Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with industry regulations.
- Basic Computer knowledge to document processes.
- Must be okay working in a strict sterile environment & adhere to the strict rules of the site. (No makeup, no false nails/nail polish, no false eyelashes, no jewellery, no perfume, hair must be tied back/neat & tidy. Must wear hair/beard net, Must adhere to rigorous hand washing & wear lap coat & steel toe capped safety boots.)
Hours, days & pay:
- Working Monday to Friday.
- 6am until 2pm.
- 1 Sunday morning in a month for 3/4 hours.
- Overtime may be offered during busy periods.
- £27000 per annum. (This could be increased slightly for the right candidate with extensive experience.)
