Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor\\n\\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Exeter. The business operates out of regional offices across the country and carries out projects across the education, commercial, extra care and healthcare sectors valuing up to £75mil. Projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract and they have won a place on several local authority and government frameworks.
\\n\\nAbout the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: \\n\\nAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final accounts and handover. You will be working alongside a junior Surveyor and will report into the Commercial Manager. \\n\\nKey Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: \\n\\nInvolvement in pre-construction activities \\nSub-contract procurement \\nManaging sub-contract packages \\nClient valuations \\nDealing with sub-contractor variations\\nFinal accounts \\n\\nKey Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:\\n\\nConstruction related degree / HNC \\nExperience managing projects administering JCT & NEC forms of contract\\nLive within a commutable distance to Exeter\\nHave the full right to work in the UK \\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business which is in a strong position with a growing presence across the South Coast.
