The Logistics Administrator will support the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of goods movement, documentation, and communications. This role ensures the efficient coordination of shipments, tracking deliveries, managing inventory records, and maintaining accurate documentation to meet organisational objectives. The Logistics Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of products and services while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction., · Staff events

Shipment Coordination:

· Schedule and coordinate the shipment of goods

· Booking ferries as directed.

· Prepare and process shipping documentation

· Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on delivery progress.

· Resolve any transportation or delivery issues to ensure on-time deliveries.

· Obtain load metres from suppliers.

· Inform suppliers of collections.

· Inform customers of deliveries.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

· Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including shipment logs, transportation invoices, and inventory transactions.

· Ensure that all logistics documents comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

· Assist in preparing reports on logistics activities, including cost reports, delivery timelines, and performance metrics.

· Carry out daily administration tasks related to supply chain logistics.

Supplier and Customer Communication:

· Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to confirm shipments, manage delays, and resolve any logistical issues.

· Respond to inquiries from customers regarding shipment status, delivery dates, and any order-related queries.

· Maintain positive relationships with external partners and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

· Ensure all shipments comply with relevant national and international regulations, including customs documentation and trade compliance.

· Keep up to date with changes in shipping regulations and communicate updates to the team.

General:

· Provide administrative support to the admin operations team.

· Participate in other duties as and when required.

· Comply with all policies and procedures within the company.

· Work with all employees within the company in the fulfilment of aims for the business.

· 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles.

· Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
