Red Snapper Group are recruiting for a Junior Account Manager to join our Public Sector recruitment team.

Fully Remote (there will be a requirement to attend monthly and quarterly meetings in person)

Role Overview

The Junior Account Manager will oversee candidate and client management, ensuring effective interviews, candidate sourcing, and contractor support. Responsibilities include compliance, business development with existing clients, and maintaining high service levels. This role requires strong leadership skills, an ability to manage various priorities and capitalise on customer relationships to develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Candidate sourcing research – using open source research tools / LinkedIn
• Conducting face to face interviews with candidates for specific jobs
• Managing contractors in post and supporting with redeployment where required
• Responding to new roles released from clients
• Conducting database searches, matching candidates to available positions
• Providing CVs to the relevant client
• Visiting clients to build and develop relationships
• Developing a good understanding of the market, client companies, what they and their company values.
• Ad hoc administrative duties as requested, including MI reporting, contract administration and project specific tasks such as client liaison
• Processing vetting material – Reference / Criminal Record Bureau / Security Clearance
• Identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients
• Service and Delivery
• Be responsible for the posting of recruitment advertising – ad copy writing, response management
• Reporting on contract SLAs including accounts reporting information to including client spend, purchase order numbers and projected billing amounts.
• Deputising for senior consultants as and when required.

Person Specification

• Proven track record of working in a similar role for at least 3 years
• Degree educated or equivalent, ideally but not essential
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience within the recruitment sector
• Experience of working in a public sector environment, ideally but not essential
• Proven track record of winning new business
• Demonstrate success in a previous target environment
• Commercially astute
• Professional telephone manner
• Ambitious, tenacious with a can-do attitude
• The ability to use initiative to achieve success
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle a large number of priorities a week
