Job Title: Development Coach\\nReports to: Lead IQA\\nWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week\\nSalary: £30,000 per annum\\nLocation: London\\nExpected Learner Caseload: 40\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Development Coach to deliver Health and Social Care qualifications to individual learners. This role involves both distance learning through our online portal and face-to-face observations of competency, conducted 2-3 times throughout the Apprenticeship/Diploma. Face-to-face visits may also be arranged for learners who prefer in-person support.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning for Adult Care Apprenticeships/Diplomas (Level 2 to Level 5).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct observations of learner competency and assess their progress.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide careers advice and guidance, directing learners to appropriate resources.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Promote Prevent Duty and British Values to enhance learner understanding.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Attend standardisation meetings and act on IQA feedback in a timely manner.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support learners with their Maths, English, and digital skills development.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Regularly review and track learner progress, ensuring timely completion of qualifications.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide robust developmental feedback to help learners achieve their career aspirations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist in preparing for external quality assurance and inspections.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain accurate learner and employer records on the e-Portfolio system.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support the Compliance Officer with Health & Safety pre-vetting of employer premises.\\n\\nWhat We’re Looking For:\\n\\n * \\n\\n A recognised Teaching Qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, AET, Cert Ed).\\n\\n * \\n\\n A recognised Assessor Qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 (or equivalent).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience delivering Health and Social Care courses and supporting learners aged 16+.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proficiency in IT and digital learning tools.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Up-to-date vocational experience and CPD in the sector.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (for face-to-face visits).\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional passionate about supporting learners and enhancing their career opportunities in the Health and Social Care sector.
