About the role:
You will support and improve their current ERP System Epicor that’s used extensively throughout the business. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference to the business whilst increasing your own ERP skills and business systems understanding.
As the ERP System Analyst with at least 3 years exposure within a similar position, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting and improving our ERP system. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure our ERP system is optimised for operational efficiency, reporting, and decision-making. Your expertise will continue to drive integration of the ERP system across departments, with emphasis on user training, troubleshooting and improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse business processes to determine ERP system requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize ERP software, ensuring smooth data flow and integration across departments
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP users, identifying and resolving technical issues
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of ERP-related issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, workflows, and configurations
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system use
- Manage system performance and suggest improvements to increase efficiency
- Support ERP testing, including functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure system compatibility and integration with other applications
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar
- Good understanding of ERP systems and SQL databases
- Experience with ERP implementation, support, and optimization
- Knowledge of system integration, business process analysis, and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in conducting training sessions and creating user documentation
- Project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams are advantageous
