Accountant – Audit £50,000 – £55,000 Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 public holidays Neom are delighted to be working a brand new job position for a Group Accountant – Audit, to join a national brand. About the Role: As Group Accountant with a focus on Audit you will lead financial reporting and annual audit processes. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with our Group Head of FP&A, managing relationships with auditors and ensuring timely, accurate reporting across our diverse operations. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary contact for auditors. * Prepare and review company accounts, ensuring all supporting data is provided promptly. * Implement financial controls and monitor business performance. * Collaborate with the management accounting team for efficient monthly reporting. * Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance professionals. * Respond to ad-hoc queries and maintain reconciled balance sheets. Criteria: * Minimum of 4 years in audit within a professional firm or industry. * Proven experience in managing teams. * ACA or ACCA qualified (or part qualified) with industry experience. * Strong customer management and communication skills. * Eligibility to work in the UK with a clear DBS check * Experience in the healthcare sector, is desirable but not essential. * Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar accounting software is desirable but not essential * Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, pivot tables)
