SEND Teacher

• Plan and Lead Lessons: Create and deliver differentiated lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEND.

• Individualised Support: Tailor learning activities to meet the unique needs of each student, adapting your approach to promote inclusion and engagement.

• Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to implement learning strategies and support classroom management.

• Foster Development: Help students develop essential communication, social, and life skills while promoting confidence and independence in their learning.

• Create a Positive Learning Environment: Maintain a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels safe, valued, and able to succeed.

Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience leading lessons, this could be a rewarding opportunity for you to make a significant difference in the lives of students with SEN., * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role, with experience leading lessons and working with students with SEN.

• SEN Experience: Previous experience working with students with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, PMLD, and other learning disabilities desirable.

• Adaptable and Compassionate: A flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to differentiate lessons and provide compassionate, student-centered support.

• Strong Leadership: Proven ability to lead a classroom and work collaboratively with support staff to achieve positive outcomes for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
