Maintenance Supervisor required for a leading housing provider working in Bristol.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities, including grounds and facilities, across multiple large retirement housing locations. The aim is to ensure a safe, comfortable and well-maintained living environment for residents while leading and managing a team of maintenance staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership to the location maintenance team and having extensive knowledge of building systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of designated locations.
  • Supervising, training, and managing a team of maintenance staff across multiple complex locations, assigning tasks, setting schedules, and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of work orders.
  • Utilising a trade background to carry out minor repairs where possible and driving a high-performance culture within the team, with the aspiration to carry out more repairs ourselves and offer an excellent repairs service to residents and location teams.
