We’re supporting a major eCommerce brand as they enter a new phase of digital performance optimisation. To accelerate their ambitions, they’re seeking a highly experienced Digital Analytics Consultant who can lead their analytics and insight function, delivering clear, actionable data that drives commercial impact.
This is a senior-level interim position ideal for someone who brings deep technical knowledge, a sharp commercial instinct, and a proven track record of translating digital behaviour into strategic business decisions.
What You’ll Deliver- Analytics Strategy & Tooling
- Define and execute a fit-for-purpose analytics strategy aligned to digital growth goals
- Own the setup, configuration, and governance of analytics platforms including GA360, GTM, and BigQuery
- Ensure clean, consistent, and scalable data collection across all digital platforms
- Insight & Optimisation
- Analyse behavioural and performance data to uncover insights across acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Support experimentation and personalisation initiatives with data-led recommendations
- Build dashboards and performance reports using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Stakeholder Enablement
- Act as a senior analytics partner to product, marketing, UX, and trading teams
- Present high-impact insights that influence executive decision-making
- Translate complex data into stories that drive business and customer outcomes
- Tagging & Implementation Oversight
- Lead event tagging strategy through GTM or similar tools
- Work with developers and QA teams to ensure robust implementation of analytics tracking
- Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and trust in reporting
- 5+ years' experience in digital/web analytics roles, ideally within ecommerce or similar fast-paced digital environments
- Expert-level proficiency with GA360, BigQuery, GTM, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with CRO tools, heatmapping platforms, and testing frameworks
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a senior capacity, delivering at pace and with precision
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: GA and/or Adobe Analytics certifications
