Senior Electrical Design Engineer

• Designing renewable energy schemes, HV and LV distribution systems.

• Ensuring compliance with GB Distribution Codes.

• Preparing detailed designs and specifications.

• Collaborating effectively with team members and assisting with various departmental needs.

• Experience dealing with DNO’s and comfortable having direct discussions with clients.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, with experience in power distribution, control systems, or building services. Knowledge of generators, heat pumps, transformers, CHP or embedded generation projects and electrical design software like AutoCAD LT and Amtech is essential. This role involves hybrid working, occasional travel, and collaboration across teams., A commitment to ongoing professional development is supported, with an ideal candidate holding a CIBSE/IET accredited degree or equivalent, or working towards IEng/CEng status. A background in electrical installation is also acceptable.
