We are currently recruiting for a full time TA at SEN provision in South Shropshire! Ideally they are looking for an ASAP start, with the view for the whole of the Summer term. There is also the potential for a permanent role for the right person! About the school: Set in the idyllic region of South Shropshire, the school provides education to pupils in key stages 3 – 5 who have additional needs including Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties! The school have a range of specialist facilities aimed at providing a therapeutic environment to allow their students to reach the very best of their abilities! The classroom sizes are very small with a maximum of 6 pupils per class, with multiple TAs in each class to support. About the role: * Timetable: Full time * Hours of work: 8:30- 16:30 * Start: 4th November * Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for perm! * Supporting with students in key stages 4/5 * Supporting across the classroom including 1:1 and small group Requirements: * Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting. * Experience with working with children with autism advantageous but not essential! * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Understanding of various SEN conditions, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. * Familiarity with behaviour management techniques.
