GSL Education is working with an SEND school in Plymouth that is seeking Special Needs Learning Mentors to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent position.

The school provides a personalised wrap-around education package for students with complex needs or EHCP pupils at risk of requiring residential placements. These pupils may have faced challenges thriving in Cornwall’s secondary and special schools or are returning from out-of-county placements.

Each child receives a high level of support, often including one-to-one assistance and bespoke timetables focused on thematic learning. The school offers a wide range of personalised activities, both in and out of the classroom, aimed at engaging students, building resilience, and fostering rapid academic progress.
