We are seeking an experienced Air Cargo Duty Manager for a well-established handling agent based at London Heathrow Airport. Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Air Cargo Duty Manager is to lead the cargo office and warehouse teams in delivering high volumes of time-sensitive air cargo movements. The Cargo Duty Manager needs to have a wealth of experience in a similar senior role from a reputable air Cargo Ground Handling Agent or Air Freight movements specialist.

Duties of the Air Cargo Duty Manager will include:

  • Lead the office and warehouse teams to meet customer service expectations.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with airline customers.
  • Monitor and manage time-critical cargo movements.
  • Plan operational resources to ensure cost-effective cargo handling.
  • Efficiently allocate employee resources to accommodate both planned and unplanned cargo movements.
  • Oversee daily operational processes to ensure compliance with set service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage staff performance, including absence management, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.

To be considered for the Air Cargo Duty Manager role, candidates must demonstrate:
