SEN Learning Support Assistant needed We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The role will be based within a SEN school setting, and will have responsibilities spanning both 1:1 and small groups within the classroom, needing a flexible and adaptable person to support young people with adverse behaviours and SEND needs. This is a full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday – 08.15 – 16.00) Pay dependant on experience (£90-£110 per day) Key Responsibilities: * Working with students aged 5 – 19 years old who have a range of SEND needs * Working within a SEN or PRU environment * Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, re-directing negative behaviours and promoting positive engagement, implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours * Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans About you: * Must have a DBS on the UDS * Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential * Experience with SEND students * Passionate about supporting in education * Strong communication and teamwork skills
