We are currently recruiting for a team of experienced Police Staff Investigating Officers to work on full-time contracts across the West Midlands. The role will be based within Public Protection Units (PPU) The role will be based with a UK Police Force, and so applicants must undergo national security checks. The role is primarily office based and hours of work are Monday to Friday. However, the client is willing to offer some flexibility around hybrid working. The rate of pay will be £22.23 per hour. Main Responsibilities Assist in the interviewing of suspects in accordance with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) and procedures. Identify, preserve and present evidence as mandated in Law and Force Procedures, identifying and filling any evidential gaps. Gather, develop and use intelligence effectively. Complete appropriate intelligence interviews ensuring that all pertinent information gained is submitted correctly. Support officers with their development where your skills and accreditation allow.
