A client of mine who are a marketing data company are seeking a highly technical Cloud Project Manager to lead complex cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. This role involves planning and executing cloud-to-cloud and tenant-to-tenant migrations, ensuring seamless data integration, managing networking and security, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Migration & Infrastructure
    • Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects across Azure, AWS, and GCP with minimal downtime.
    • Manage tenant-to-tenant and cross-cloud migrations, ensuring compliance and security.
    • Design scalable, secure cloud environments in collaboration with architects and engineers.
  • Data & Systems Integration
    • Ensure seamless data flows across platforms, mitigating data integrity risks.
    • Validate ETL pipelines, data lakes, and analytics solutions post-migration.
  • Networking & Security
    • Oversee networking design, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud setups.
    • Enforce best practices for IAM, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and zero-trust security architectures.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
    • Drive Agile project delivery, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.
    • Manage relationships with cloud service providers, optimizing costs and contracts.
    • Effectively communicate technical risks and solutions to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years managing complex cloud, infrastructure, or data migration projects.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in networking, security, IAM, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications (Azure AZ-305/AZ-104, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management.
