Freelance Role Overview:

We are currently looking to expand our pool of talented freelance Motion Graphics Designers to join our dynamic team. As a freelance designer, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, primarily focusing on localising theatrical and broadcast content for international markets. This is an as-needed position with flexible scheduling, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a creative, fast-paced agency environment. The freelancer must be available in April and May.

Key Responsibilities:

• Re-version existing film and TV campaigns for international markets, ensuring that new elements match the original master and are seamlessly integrated.
• Adapt campaign assets such as logos, artwork, and graphics through retouching, colouring, and grading.
• Design and animate titles and accompanying graphics to enhance film release campaigns, maintaining the integrity of the original content.
• Create end cards and supporting graphics for branding and advertising projects.
• Provide pre-production designs including style frames and storyboards for pitching.
• Export and deliver files according to the specified requirements.
• Maintain and organise software, plugins, assets, and style guides.
• Collaborate with lead and senior designers on larger projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Work closely with producers and account managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
• Brainstorm and collaborate with the creative team to produce innovative, high-end design solutions for a variety of formats (theatrical, broadcast, OOH, etc.).

Skills & Experience Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in motion graphics design, preferably in a theatrical or broadcast environment.
• A minimum of 3 years localisation experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly After Effects & Photoshop) and related plugins.
• Good working knowledge of Cinema 4D or similar 3D packages.
• Experience working on MAC systems.
• Strong design, typography, and layout skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and organisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a creative team.
• A keen understanding of the confidential nature of the work we undertake.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of the post-production process, including file formats and delivery specifications for broadcast, theatrical, and digital platforms.
• Foreign language skills (not essential but advantageous).
