We are currently looking for a part time Social Worker for one of our private clients based in Reading. An integral pathway supporting and empowering service users in their recovery and rehabilitation. The medium, low secure and rehabilitation wards, as well as a psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs) are all set within 21 acres in the Berkshire countryside. We provide comprehensive personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder within our Medium & Low Secure services. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements. The recovery focused model of care is bespoke to the individual needs of each service user. All care pathways are Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) led, with a holistic focus that ensures all aspects of the service users’ health are catered for, including their physical and mental health. We offer a seamless internal care pathway:- Mental Health Medium Secure Ward 1 provides a 12 bed acute medium secure setting for assessment and treatment of male service users. People can be admitted to this ward if they are a new referral into medium secure care, transferring from prison, if they are stepping down from a high secure or stepping up from a low security setting, due to a deterioration in their presentation.
