Petroc is a highly successful institution, delivering education and skills training in Devon and beyond and has an exciting opportunity for a part time Outdoor Instructor.
The main function of this role is to provide support for Outdoor Adventure activities that enhance the learner experience, this may involve offsite work including evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in the specialist area and a level 3 equivalent qualification.
Petroc is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All positions are subject to the completion of checks, including an Enhanced DBS clearance.
In line with the most recent Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines, an online search will also be carried out for short-listed candidates prior to interview. This is to identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online, which the College may explore with applicants at interview. This is a safeguarding check to assess if the individual is suitable to work with young and/or vulnerable learners.
