SSA are currently working with a Leading Tier 2 M&E company based in London seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on various Residential and Commercial Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that “Safety comes first” is alive, visible and engaged throughout all activities.
- Develop installation drawings and implement best practice techniques to ensure effective delivery of the project.
- Work with the Project Manager to identify labour and material requirements to ensure cost effective use of same.
- Regularly review requirements and make the appropriate recommendations to amend the programme to maximise productivity whilst minimising costs.
- Ensure design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.
- Provide leadership for the delivery team in line with the company procedures and values, working to maximise and develop the potential of the team and individuals within.
- Ensure that all operational activities are carried out in compliance with the company procedures and external legislation governing the business operations.
- Provide input in the preparation of the project cost plan, budgets and enhanced margin based on the contract parameters and objectives to enable the maximisation of profits.
- Monitor and ensure that the work of the appointed sub-contractors is being carried out to business procedures, project specifications, legislation and programme.
- Manage the successful completion of the project in line with agreed quality and commercial plans within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
