An experienced Domestic Property Adjuster is required to join a reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced, and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care.
Job Responsibilities
- You will join their specialist Property Adjusting team who offer a dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim.
- You will carry out site visits throughout the North East region assessing Property Damage claims up to £100,000, covering all peril related losses.
- Carry out site visits to policyholders properties to assess damage and produce schedule of work utilising Symbility to settle claims
- Manage domestic property claims up to £100,000
- Proactively manage your own caseload of claims from start to finish
- Build relationships with Surveyors/internal stakeholders
- Identify potential recoveries/internal stakeholders
- Make decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage
Requirements
- Previous/current experience managing your own caseload of Domestic Property Claims in a technical environment
- Field Adjusting experience visiting policyholders\’ home to assess/validate damage
- Scopes experience using Symbility or similar tools
- Knowledge of validating schedule of works
- Excellent IT/systems experience – Microsoft
- CII/CILA qualification preferred but not essential
- Full clean driving licence
