Local insulation company based in North Shields is currently requiring an experienced HGV2 Delivery Driver to deliver insulation boards and bags of insulation to both residential, businesses and construction sites in and around the North East, up to Scotland and down to North Yorkshire in a HGV2 Curtainsider vehicle. Once at the address, you will be required to offload the products, which aren’t heavy but are bulky.
HGV2 Delivery Drivers should have:
- A minimum of 12 months HGV2 Delivery experience
- A valid HGV2 Licence, CPC and Digicard
Start times are 7.30am Monday to Friday with no weekends involved. Depending upon where you are delivering to, the HGV2 Delivery Drivers will generally be finished between 5pm and 6pm. The hourly rate is £14.00 per hour, with any overtime paid at £21.00 per hour, which is paid weekly.
In addition to the above, HGV2 Delivery Drivers will also accrue holiday pay, which is in addition to the hourly rate above, and there is a guaranteed 8 hours on the job.
HGV2 Delivery Drivers should have access to a PC/Laptop or Tablet as we will send a digital registration document which applicants must complete and return to ourselves.
Please note that due to this being agency work, it won’t be suitable for any HGV2 Delivery Drivers who are in permanent employment.
