This is a fantastic opportunity for an entrepreneurial graduate to join the contracts team of a business which is at the forefront of the NHS Pharmacy Regulatory industry and has recently broken the record for number of contracts granted within a year. They account for 50% of the market.

They specialise in obtaining NHS Pharmacy Contracts, through the presentation of legal arguments in accordance with legislation (Pharmacy and healthcare regulations). Once contracts are won, sites are opened, scaled, or sold in a 1-2 year timeline.

The work is challenging, for example planning out lines of argument prior to putting in writing and debating against partners at law firms. You’ll need to write cleverly and put a good spin on it.

You’ll be delivering contract applications and seeing them through to Secretary of State appeals and liaising with key stakeholders such as MPs and Councillors.

The office location is in Coventry, and you will be able to work from home 3 days a week if you like.

CAREER PROSPECTS

Ultimately, they are looking for someone to progress to the level of business partner. For someone who is able to keep pace, this is a fantastic opportunity, and the rewards are huge. Many very bright graduates end up at large firms where they may be held back for a number of years; but not here. This will appeal to someone who is super-bright, hardworking, and entrepreneurial. You may also learn the operations side of the business. Equity will be available within projects for those who demonstrate commensurate capability.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need to be a straight A/A* graduate from a Russell Group university. This is the profile that has been successful for them previously. Your written and verbal communication skills need to be strong; and you should be a logical thinker. You’ll need the ability to control the direction of arguments when debating legislation and to be able to articulate complex concepts in a concise, yet simple manner.

It can be challenging work, and won’t always be 9-5. While there is some flexibility in degree type, some are preferred: Law (if you are not looking to go down the Legal career route), Philosophy, or something STEM related.

Immediate start.
