Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join their staff team for a private day nursery located in Hammersmith. As a Room Leader, you want to be part of the right nursery. One where there are great opportunities to grow, develop and really make a difference while achieving the best possible outcomes for all the children in your care.
Role Requirements:
- Level 3 or above Early Years Qualification (required)
- 2 years childcare experience (required)
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Early Years Outcomes, safeguarding and child protection
- The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Committed to providing high-quality care and education within a nursery setting
What the role involves:
- To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years
- To keep a record of achievement on your key children
- Ensure that Early Years Foundation Stage requirements are being met
- Care for and supervise children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs
- Planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child’s individual development within a stimulating environment
- An open and positive working relationship with team members
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education
- First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications are highly desirable
